What we're about
This is the online presence for the Triangle Macintosh User Group. TMUG is the region's oldest user group, helping Mac users get the most from their computers since 1984. We are currently meeting on the second Monday of the month to talk Macs. As a registered non-profit, our meetings are always free and open to the public. But we hope that attendees will "officially" join TMUG by paying the $35 annual dues and get member benefits, such as discounts, entry into monthly drawings, and the ability to participate in some members-only raffles and contests. Come by and see what the Macintosh can do for you!
And, if you're interested in the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, we have a different group that meets on the fourth Monday of the month specifically dedicated to iOS, Apple's mobile operating system. We'll mention iOS devices from time to time in the regular meeting, but the fourth week-iOS meeting is much more open regarding your "desktop" system. Anyone is welcome to attend either or both meetings, and to suggest topics and volunteer to lead meetings as well. It's truly a User's group!
On the third Monday, the Executive Committee meets to work on future meeting topics, raffle ideas, and other club business. We actively encourage all interested parties to come and assist the "XCOM" with this task.
