Gardening 101 How to grow your own food (part of 8 session series)

Great news! Michelle is taking on teaching another round of Gardening 101. She is a great teacher and can answer your questions far beyond the scope of this course.

This is part of a series of 8 lessons.

The course covers the following subjects:

1. Intro and Basics of Organic and Permaculture
2. Garden Siting and Design
3. Soil and Composting
4. Choosing Plants and Basic Botany
5. Seeding and Planting
6. Irrigation
7. Weeds, Pests and Disease
8. Using your Harvested Food

The course is geared towards beginning gardeners, so, even if your hands have never touched soil or plants, you are welcome. If you already know something about growing your own food, you are sure to deepen your knowledge and walk away with more ideas to implement.

However, if you are an experienced, or somewhat experienced Gardener come and take the course as well. We would like for you to step up into the role of a teacher. We are providing a curriculum as well as training if you further need/want any after attending a class series. We like to offer this course over and over again, in different time slots and hopefully with different teachers. If you are interested, please contact me.

Hey everybody! As a reminder we're going over weeds, pests and diseases tomorrow. So if you've got a branch of some creepy crawly bring it in (maybe in a baggies) and we'll go over it and talk about remedies!
