This restaurant has both Szechuan and Cantonese style cuisine:

 "In Maryland and Northern Virginia, there is a thriving Chinese community and there are many places to find great Chinese food. However, the food at China Jade is truly its own. The tradition of excellence in serving Cantonese for many years is now only exceeded by new addition of our Szechwan cuisine offering. Your dining experience at China Jade does not start at our kitchen. It started thirty years ago when our Chef Hu was nurtured in his family kitchen by seeing his mother turning simple vegetables and meats into fulfilling family dishes at a time meals and food were not in ample supply. That experience made Chef Hu hate to use any pre-made in preparing ingredients and seasonings. The freshness of our dishes comes out of his hands so naturally.

Chef Hu is now joined by Chef Liu, who is his classmate from Szechwan Institute of Culinary Arts and Science. Chef Liu also owns Hong Kong Palace at Sevens Corner, Northern Virginia. Together Chefs Hu and Liu have served over 1000 VIP events from China and USA.

Coming to China Jade is also about seeing Maggie, our amazing hostess and front office manager. She has a sweet smile, and remarkable memory, and will help you to select the best dishes. If you need something specially prepared, let her know and she will use her “Guanxi/connections” in kitchen to get it for you."
