Contact me if you are interested in going. Have you always wanted to go to Paradise but didn't know where it was located?
Look no further because we found it on Ocracoke island, Outer Banks (OBX), NC.
It is better than Negril, Jamaica, with 13 miles of deserted beach; it's your own private island! We have hurricane insurance. Note that rentals of bikes, kayaks, etc. are extra and can be ordered a head of time and brought to and from the cottage.
No hotels are allowed on the beach because it's a wildlife preserve with very few people, so you can go naked if you wish! You can fish from a 4x4 vehicle if you like in designated spots.
One person/$520 (or a couple can have the biggest bedroom with a TV for $520/person or $500/person if you mail me a check to avoid processing fees; contact me for my address) for one week includes: one private bedroom with a bed (sheets and towels not provided but can be ordered for a small fee $12) in a private cottage right on Pamlico sound with a small beach area for tanning, swimming, and especially kayaking! You can also rent a bike or kayak for the week but that rental is on your own or bring your own bike and kayak. I can order it/them for you if you include it in your check. Bike is $45 for the week and the kayak is $85 and they bring them and take them away for you.
The house has WiFi, washer/dryer, kitchen (fully equipped & dishwasher), bathroom (large shower), living room with cable TV and movies, screened-in back porch overlooking Pamlico sound with a picnic table, rocking chairs, couch and chairs, and there's a deck on the side (besides the indoor shower in the bathroom, there is also an outdoor shower to wash the sand off your feet and rinse off the salt). Off street parking on a dead end road.
Our own private beach on the sound (besides the real ocean beaches).
Activities: There's horseback riding on the beach ($60/hr), parasailing (~$60-80), sailing (sunset sail $45), fishing trips and boat rentals, 4x4 Jeep rentals, bikes ($45/wk), kayaks and canoes (~$85/wk), stand up sails, all day tours of nearby historic Portsmouth island with ATV riding, nature hikes, great food at their restaurants and cooking out on our grill with fresh fish from the seafood market; it's a surreal place.
Their wild horses, couldn't drag me away!
Time to have some real fun on a real beach deserted island with a small town, friendly people, and a lot of fun activities, including shopping!
All aboard, mates!
