Join us for a Pre-Superbowl Hike. This is our traditional hike on this day. It's been a very popular hike the past 4 years because we're done way before the kickoff time.
We get to hike and enjoy the festivities because we'll be done so early!!!! We'll hike 4.5 miles at a moderate level along the Musch Trail. We'll see the ocean at one point along the trail. We can hike up a little bit steeper trail to Eagle Rock and get an even greater view of the ocean. This is a loop trail, so it won't be repetitious.
You'll be back to your car before 12:30 pm.

Sorry, no dogs allowed this time because it's a state park.
Topanga State Park offers 9,000 acres of spectacular vistas, rugged peaks and canyons, sunny slopes and cool streambeds located just west of Los Angeles between the San Fernando Valley and the Pacific Ocean. It is also the largest state park within a city limit in the U.S.
From Pacific Coast Highway, travel north on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, pass the post office at the center of "town," then turn right on Entrada Road. Keep on driving to the left until you reach the park's main parking lot (about one mile) at the top of the road.
From the Ventura Freeway, exit at Topanga Canyon Boulevard, drive south over the crest of the mountains and proceed three miles to Entrada Road and turn left. Keep on driving left until you reach the park's main parking lot (about one mile) at the top of the road.
Parking is available within the park limits for $10 or through the state park passes. There is also free parking along the road outside of the entrance to the park (Trippet Ranch).
Please plan to arrive at the parking lot about 10 minutes before 9 to have time to pay the iron ranger etc. Allow even more time if you plan to park outside the location because it takes at least 5 to 10 minutes to walk in. Trying to keep a little bit of a schedule so folks can get back to their football activities on time. Thanks!
I'll collect $1 at the trailhead. ___________________________________________________________________
