1. Final reminder for the Oktoberfest dachshund races at Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia! Event & Races are on Saturday 9/27 but sign-ups end on 9/18 this week! 2. Amy & Presley Caetta have invited all TVDC members to join and march with the doxies in the annual Placentia Heritage parade on Oct 11th. It's their 50th year! Following is the festival at tri city where they may also do some weenie races. They have about 16 weenies so far but would like to add more for the 50th anniversary – so all TVDC members in the OC – plan to get your weenie on in Placentia on Oct. 11th! http://www.placentia.org/index.aspx?nid=357

3. This coming Thursday Sept. 18th, the TVDC is invited to join OCX Doxie Meetup for “Yappy Hour” at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point! http://www.meetup.com/ocdoxies/ See below.

4. Our next regular TVDC Dog Park Meetup is set for next Sunday, 9/21 from 4:00 to 6:00pm, weather & heat permitting. Remember we cancel Dog Park whenever weather .com says it will be more than 95 degrees at dog park start time. Hopefully it will be cooler in a week – our 5 little hot links can’t take much more of this!
