Making the Most of Social Media, with Aaron Hockley

  • May 5, 2012 · 7:00 PM
  • San Jose Library (West Valley Branch)

TWiP is proud to announce a presentation by social media guru and photographer, Aaron Hockley.

Whether you're a professional photographer or an amateur who cares about your images, social media can provide a great mechanism for sharing your photography with the world. While there are various platforms that let you share images and other photography-related information, social networking can help develop and maintain photography-related relationships with others.

For professionals, social media and social networking are an ever-more-important part of one's business and marketing toolset. We're going to explore the world of social media for photographers, including an overview of current tools and services, how to use those services for sharing photography, how to build and maintain relationships with photography-related individuals and companies, and how pros can increase their business influence and revenue using social media.

Join us for an informative and engaging talk on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 7pm. We'll meet at the San Jose Public Library, West Valley Branch.

We hope to see you there!

Nice presentation. It is pretty obvious why I'm not a commercial photographer.

It was my first time down from San Francisco and this meetup was very well organized. The topic was very interesting and relevant. I'm just bummed that I had to leave before it was over... hope I didn't miss out on winning the raffle!
