• The Skybound Treasure of the Swordcoast (DND 5th Edition)

Alright, I believe the time has come for me to return to the Dungeons and Dragons scene after a long break. I’m looking forward to getting back into the game, and I think this campaign is just what I need. Story: Renown Archeologist Rupert Rovenguard believes he has discovered a rare key that unlocks a treasure hidden within the high mountains of the Swordcoast. Along with this key is a map, and it appears that the road across the land is filled with trouble and danger, too much for the archeologist to face alone. Recruiting a brave group of adventurers, Rupert hopes that together, the riches and ancient secrets hidden within the Swordcoast can be uncovered. Character Creation Info: For this game, the characters will be starting at level 3, so please have a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition character prepared for this game. For gold and equipment, you may start with the amount of gold provided by your class and your background, along with the starting equipment and items. This is probably not going to be a very morally-complex adventure, so don’t expect many terribly evil vs highly good decision making (unless things really get off the rails, of course). So, I would recommend coming to the game with a neutral or good character as there probably won’t be very much for evil characters to really do. This game will be at Play More Games, which does require everyone to pay $5 to play at a table in their store per person, so please come prepared to pay for your seat. If it were up to me, I’d have everyone play for free, but my hands are unfortunately kind of tied on this one :/ Also, this game will be bi-weekly, meaning we’ll meet twice a month. That way, we don’t get burned out and I’ll have enough time to put together more interesting stuff for each session. If you could bring a mini to represent yourself, that would be awesome because we’ll be using a very special map I’ve put together. Alright guys, I think that’s everything. Please comment below if you have any questions. And please only RSVP if you’re sure you can attend.

  • Shadow of the Demon Lord - Grime in Voornheim

    Mitch and Hannah's place

This is a session of our Shadow of the Demon Lord campaign "Grime in Voornheim". Level 9! This campaign will be taking place in the sprawling city of Voornheim, where some say that a terrible demon prince from the Void is coming, and Voornheim will die. The Demon Lord's shadow is clearly upon this dirty maze-like city, as bestial animalistic degenerates infest the place and seem to get stronger and more organized every day. Can it be stopped? And if it can't, what do you do then? Please be aware, this is a game with disturbing themes, dick jokes, horrific magic, sexual situations, lethal combat and graphic descriptions. You will not be high-fantasy badasses with incredible power shaping the world. You start as a commoner, and there is a good chance you may go insane, be corrupted by dark forces, lose limbs, or die during the campaign. You can create awesome characters, but do not get too protective or attached to them. Revel in their downfall. It will be glorious. If there are open slots, people are welcome to join at any point in the campaign! You can create a character beforehand (see links at bottom) or just use a provided pre-generated character of the appropriate level. We will be playing at Mitch and Hannah's place in Laurel. They have cats and a baby. • Frederick Dungeons and Dragons (5e): Storm King's Thunder

    Beyond Comics (Frederick)

    • What we'll do The adventure will be: Storm King Thunder/Rise of Tiamat. This is an official Wizards of the Coast storyline, and it will be using 5th edition rules for Dungeons and Dragons. Currently, I believe we've just managed to balance the two tables of players that are going to be attending this game. Here is the list of players: Dungeon Master: Drew Daws Players: Jeffery Johnson Daniel Howe Ana Jauregui Nick Jauregui Peter Wey Rae Grissom (The reason the RSVP list says Peter +5 guests is because Peter is the only one I could find registered on the meetup site, and I can't register guests with Drew because he's the host) I believe this list is correct. Thanks guys for coming out to Frederick to play DND, it's really awesome! -Doug • What to bring • Important to know
