Find out how easy it is to make these and many more culinary creations at our Dehydrating & Trail Food Seminar on Sunday, February 10, at 2 p.m. at The Mountaineers Tacoma Program Center
This program is for novices, the curious and the accomplished. If you've got some favorite trail food treats, dehydrated or not, join us to share your expertise and experiences - samples would be welcome too! If you've got some great ideas/shortcuts/lightweight solutions for eating on the trail, whether on a day hike, a day paddle, or an overnight trip, we want to hear them.
Whatever your favorite outdoor activity is, if you like to eat this program is for you. Get ready to get out on the trail this spring with your own dehydrated treats in your pack and start to make plans for what you are going to do with the bounty from your garden (or from your neighborhood farmers' market) this summer.
Learn how to select a dehydrator and how to use it to remove all that heavy water from your food to minimize weight and maximize flavors and culinary experiences on the trail. Members and non-members alike are invited to this free program.
