What we're about

Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. This group is open to all skill levels and all ages. No prior experience is required, bring a curious mindset.

This group is started by a beginner student (36y, with 6 months TaiChi experience) and his Tai Chi Master who invites you to join their weekly practice.

We practice outside in the charming St. Mary’s Square in the heart of Chinatown.

Meditation in Motion: Tai Chi practice in Chinatown

St. Mary Square Park

Practicing Tai Chi in the park is one of my favorite reasons to get out from bed on Saturday morning. Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. This session is open to all skill levels and all ages. No prior experience is required, bring a curious mindset. Join Giovanni (student) and Richard (teacher) for an hour of Tai Chi. Master Richard starts at 10:30 AM sharp. The format will be about 1/2 hour of stretching and qigong, followed by 1/2 hour of practicing form. $5 suggested donation for Richard's Tai Chi school, no one turned away for lack of funds.
