Welcome to Tai Chi, Nutrition and Vibrant Health. This Meetup group is for people interested in learning Tai Chi and Qigong (pronounced 'Chee Gong') as a form of relaxation and meditation in movement and for everyone interested in maximising their Health and Vitality through Nutrition, while making a few new like-minded friends along the way.
Most of the Classes/Workshops/Social Events will take place in Edinburgh, however some will most likely take place in Glasgow and other locations over time. There will be a social element to the group too so if you're new in town or would like to make a few like-minded friends, this may be the group for you!
I look forward to meeting you soon if I haven't already!

This Beginners Tai Chi and Qigong Relaxation class will be the 1st class in this location and will be a unique opportunity to start learning Tai Chi and Qigong right from the start of the sequence. Tai Chi and Qigong are traditionally done outside....so Spring is a perfect time to start learning :-) During these classes we will take a look at some of the basics of Tai Chi, learn some simple Qigong exercises and learn the opening moves of the Tai Chi form (sequence). Tai Chi is a form of mindful movement which resembles a slow classical dance and is ideal for bringing about a feeling of relaxation and peace of mind while gently exercising the body. Cost per person: £10 (There is also an option to pay on the day by cash if you wish - please message/email me in advance if you wish to do this, so I can keep track of the numbers) For more details about the class, please click below to get to the relevant page of my website: http://www.taichiandnutrition.com/outdoortaichiedinburgh.html Or please email me if you need any more details. Enjoy your day, Hazel :-)
Please Note: If the weather's not suitable/a bit dodgy on the day ... you will be emailed by 8am on the day to confirm whether or not the class will go ahead. You will have the option of either a refund or a place in the class on a future Saturday if the class needs to be cancelled.
