Tai Chi is an ancestral internal martial art from China well know for its defense training, therapeutic and health benefits. A gentle and beautiful practice that help us to connect body and mind while entering a meditative state in movement. Ultimately, it can be described as Mindfulness for the body in motion.
On the thin line between the will and “letting go”, our mind empties to surrender to the flow of the movement. This is where Tai Chi lies.
Traditional Small Circle Tai Chi
This Tai Chi is done in its most traditional form, the clean circular movements of Yang Xiao Jia (small circle). It will help us to focus mainly on the therapeutic and meditative aspects of Tai Chi. Unlike other modern forms of Tai Chi, this ancient form focus on the sensitivity and body awareness rather than strength, performance and defense. Its high stance reduces legs and knees strain and movements are slower and never forced which makes it gentle to practice and suitable for health.
Tai Chi is a form of Qi Gong
Practicing Qi Gong is a simple and very effective way to relax and tune in our body as well as to awake our Qi and prepare us for Tai Chi practice. The whole Tai Chi practice is based on Qi Gong system and thus are complimentary. It will help to increase our level of awareness by teaching our perception sensitivity.

We will start with some Qi Gong and simple Tai Chi based movements as a warm up to increase our body awareness and meditative state. It will be followed by the teaching of the beautiful 24 form Yang Style Tai Chi done in its traditional form. Beginners will do some basic hand and foot works in order to achieve the 6 form first.
