Thanks Jeff for all your hard work on this trip! It looks as if Theresa and I were able to join the Trial Mix group. We will be tagging along with them, yet still need two of the camping spots you have reserved.

    Thanks again

Theresa, lets talk today as it appears that we will get included with "The Trial Mix" group. They are already set on Car Pool's and Sharing Mules for their group, so we can ride up and back together, and share the cost of a mule to carry the packs. Look forward to talking with you later today.

The backpack trip with “Take a Hike” to Havasupai is getting canceled. I still want to go and am looking for others that are interested in still going. Jeff will allow us to use the reservations that he has booked, but will not be attending to lead the hike.

If you are still interested in making this trip this weekend, please let me know? We can still go as an unofficial group without an actual leader.

The weather is perfect, it’s a well-marked route and we can certainly use mules, horses or helicopter if we need an out…..

    Steve,
I just tried to get into their group, but it shows full. In talking with Jeff we can still use his reservations if this group still wants to go without an officail leader? OR we can attempt to tag along with the other group and use our reservations.

To everyone.....I still want to go, but certainly don't want to go by myself........If you are still interested and we can get a few spots of the reservation from Jeff.......I'm in......

Please contact me direct and we can still cordinate our trip..

Jeff, Very sorry to hear of your incident!

I really want to do this pack trip and would certainly step forward, YET this is my first pack trip in Arizona/Havasupai. Consquently not the person to lead this trip, this time.

    All,
I did something not so kind to my left knee during this weekends Rim2Rim 2Rim hike. I will almost positively back out. I know several people are excited about this trip and I would hate to cancel it on account of my physical condition. Therefore, I am asking for one of you to step forward and take over the rsvp#s and essentially be the point person. I will keep this trip alive until Tuesday night. If no one steps forward then I will cancel the hike and issue refunds.
    Sorry all,
    Jeff

Looking ahead to the forecast, I'm guessing that the temps at the Colorado River are the ones that we will experience?

Thursday...Partly cloudy. Lows around 39 on the north rim to around 55 along the Colorado River. Highs 64 to 69 on the north rim to 86 to 92 along the Colorado River. Friday...Partly cloudy. Lows around 39 on the north rim to around 55 along the Colorado River. Highs 64 to 69 on the north rim to 86 to 92 along the Colorado River. High-Eighty's to Mid-Fifty's?

Ok everyone. We will meet on Wednesday at TAH weekly meeting at Old Chicago Pizza to discuss exactly how we are going to pull this thing off, and of course a beer. Hope to see everyone there cuz some of us may not return from the Rim Cubed intact to see it to Havasupia. Hasta luego.

OK, I'm in and I have no idea what I got myself into.....

I've packed the Cascades in the Northwest, but it's not desert heat and it's not the Grand Canyon......I guess I have 72 hours to get in and get out......LOL......

I have a Chrysler 300C and can probably get a few in my car for the ride from Scottsdale.
