Opening Meeting for Pi Soccer League!

As mentioned in our last meeting, we will be focusing our efforts in the coming year around building teams of robots!

In this first meeting we will be exploring and assembling the kits as well as getting Win 10 IoT core running on our devices.

Our goal is not to have everyone build the same robot, but have a variety of different platforms so head to Amazon and buy some parts!

Also - you should get a Raspberry Pi 3, this includes built in WiFi and Bluetooth. If you get a 2, you will need a dongle.

Any suggestion as to appropriate mbot kits? The link on the hackster page is broken and the Amazon link shows many apparently different (but not obviously so) options.

Hello Drew - that's where the fun comes in :) pick something that looks cool and we'll have fun automating it. I don't think we'll get to our first soccer match next month so don't worry about those attachments..
