Casa Seranita "Lunch & Learn"

  • Sep 12, 2013 · 11:00 AM
  • Casa Seranita

Each week on Thursday, we invite you to come by Casa Seranita--bring a dish if you can, don't worry if you can't. We will always have enough food to share, along with homesteading skills such as: food preservation, fermentation, vegan cooking, gluten-free lifestyle, organic gardening, permaculture, and MORE!

We will be showing the Geoff Lawton Permaculture Design Course videos--this week: Intro.

We've had a nice turnout the past few weeks, mainly through TampaBayTime.org let's keep up the momentum! The current list of needed items for the garden is:

More gutters
Veggie & legume starts
fruit & nut trees
berry bushes
bamboo (freshly cut, green, 4 stalks 20-30ft long)
humacelium (that's humans who behave like mycelium, working underground through unseen networks to blossom suddenly into view)

Human Resources:

weeding
digging irrigation
re-organizing tools in garage
cataloging tools
building several raised beds
