During this time we learn how to de-stress, relax and center ourselves using the techniques of Sahaja Meditation, a simple, natural and easy to learn method. This meditation will help you see where your life is out of balance and show you how to use your own powers to change. Through it you can become your own master/teacher in a way that is very difficult to achieve with the hectic lives that we lead. It helps us rediscover (or discover!) and then sustain a sense of calm and connection with the present moment, so that we feel happier, healthier, more content and lighthearted. It's quite simple and it really works.
What to expect?
Typically there is a short introduction or discussion on a topic relevant to the group; about what meditation is, how to achieve it and the imbalances that prevent us from feeling peaceful inside. Everyone is free to ask questions and get individual support.
Then we do a guided meditation session to help everyone experience the meditation (mental silence) and sit in silent meditation together for awhile. If you have tried to meditate using other methods you should find this much easier. Also if you really want to develop a meditation practice that bestgws tangible, obvious benefits this is the meditation for you.
These sessions are every Saturday and you can start any time. After the 10:30-11:30 session we have another from 11:30-12:30 for those who have mastered the basics and feel ready to sit for longer times in deeper meditation.
