Are you currently doing pet therapy?

I am not currently doing pet therapy. I think my dog Charley has a good temperment for it and would enjoy doing it. He is working on his CGC skills as a first step toward the goal of doing pet therapy, but he needs to work on not getting so excited when he sees another dog! I would love to have him work with children (something like the program where children can read to dogs or Paws for Justice) as he seems to enjoy meeting children and they seem to take to him.

If so, which organization are your visits insured through?

What type of pet do you do therapy with?

My dog Charley, a retriever mix, is the dog I would like to do pet therapy with at some point in the future.

My name is Melissa and I have 2 dogs adopted as puppies that are 3 years old now, a Border Collie mix named Delilah and a Retriever mix named Charley. I would like to do Pet Therapy with Charley in the future.
