What we're about

- The book, Tao Te Ching (pronounce as: Dao De Jing), was writen by sage LaoZi, China, 6th century BC. - It explains the basic principle of the universe. - It is a worth study literature and has 81 short poetic chapters. - We are forming a study group to understand the meaning of the book and learn how to apply the principles to our daily life and work. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2) Schamburg public Library - 2nd Sat of the month

3) Sulzer Library in Chicago - 3rd Sat of the month

4) Westmont public Library - 4th Sat of the month

Typical time: 2pm to 4pm.

1) Above location, date, and time are just a suggestion. Otherwise please let us know your preferred place, date, and time so that we will try to accommodate that.

2) If no member signs up 7 days prior to the meeting, it will be cancelled.

Tai chi exercise weekly on Sunday from 10am to 11am

Tai Chi Chuan is a 500 year old exercise from China using a set of movements and stances. This is a light to intense workout that has the benefits of good exercise and meditation. Taiji emphasizes isometric muscle development, stretching, increased lung capacity, balance and coordination, all with low impact on the joints. It’s great if you are new to exercise or even experienced. Wear comfortable and flat soled shoes like tennis shoes. Location: inside Woodfield mall, Schaumburg. First level at the corner between JC Penney and Payless shoes. Parking is god between JC Penny and Nordstrom. No Fee, donations welcome.
