About the cost:

This is very close to my cost, to ensure all the spaces are filled, so it's a real bargin. As I'm taking a week off of work to do it, I needed to charge around £600 to cover my time.  But I've reduced it in the spirit of meetups, and making sure a good group comes along, and we all have the best holiday of the year!

English holidays are very expensive due to the high petrol and hotel cost.  It cost me £30 to travel across london in a taxi, so if you factor this in for each of the trips we will be making, you could spend this in just taxi and hotel alone.  But I've also included wine tastings, cider tours, a theatre ticket, and a ticket to the fish and chip ball! How posh is that?

Transport for 3 days

Hotel for 2 nights

Wine tasting at the vineyard

Tour of the vineyard

Cider farm tour

Fish and chip Ball (very posh)

Theatre ticket to out door theatre

Not included:

Meals, and drinks

About our trips:

The people who have attended our trips in the past, talk about how they are experiences that they will remember for the rest of their lives.  These are not back-backer holidays, but bespoke events designed just to create the best experience.   I spent 5 weeks in Cornwall researching for this event and I've put together the best of the best - this a once-in-a-life-time holiday, experiencing the best of englands food and coastal regions.

A great combination of quirky and quality excursions.

Kelly organised picnics, wine and cider tastings in fantastic Cornwall settings with much to see and enjoy. Friendly group too.

Fab weekend, action packed but not in an iron man way! Every day included a favourite past time of any foodie, top quality wine tasting at Camel Valley, gourmet picnic at the stunning Minack theatre, cider making tour & gererous tasting session, make your own pasty, champagne & exotic canapes before a 1940's ball. Exercise opportunities were available in the form of beach walks & dancing, & surfing lessons were on site if any one had fancied an early morning dip!

Kelly made this weekend a Cornwall experience that would be hard for anyone else to create through her original ideas & unique powers of persuasion when it comes to dealing with the food & wine industry. AJ was our driver from White City tube to Newquay & all the trips in between. His skills at steering a 9 seater through the narrow lanes of Cornwall were impressive as were his ability to stow large quantities of cider!

    about the play:

Truro Operatic follow up their hugely popular 2010 production of ‘Hot Mikado’ with the second of two Tony Award winning musicals in the season.
Sondheim’s 1987 classic is one of his most intricate and yet accessable musicals, if only because we are familiar with most of the characters from our childhood fairy tales.

Wishes are fulfilled, old curses reversed and many lessons learned as these colourful charactersjourney through the woods in the hope of living 'happy ever after'.

James Lapine's clever and witty book and Stephen Sondheim's unforgettable music and lyrics combine to create a unique piece of theatre that has thrilled audiences on both sides of the Atlantic since its premiere in 1987.
