Geshe Jamyang Sherab has chosen to make Tauranga his home, with the desire to teach and share with community in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
Through Buddhist teachings and meditation Geshe Jamyang provides the opportunity for people to discover and develop their inherent potential for compassion, wisdom and inner peace. From this an open hearted community naturally follows.
Geshe Jamyang teaches and practices Mahayana Buddhism, which has gained popularity in the west because of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's focus on unity through compassion and kindness.
" Tsog means gathering. We gather together the things we’re offering, and we ourselves gather together to do the practice. Gathering together with other practitioners, concentrating our minds into the same space, gives us great inspiration." Lama Thubten Yeshe
