Live podcast recording and Christmas Party!

  • night and day cafe

  • What are we thinking?

We'll be doing our first ever Tech for Good Podcast LIVE recording. Come and get involved.

If you've heard the podcasts or seen our live periscope, you might know why this is a bad idea. If not, have a listen here

    What's the podcast about?

From rampant AI's and gamification to social fundraising and new ways of donating. Join us on a meandering ramble through the ever changing landscape of tech that makes the world a better place. NOW LIVE. Oh my goodness.

    Who is on the podcast?

Five friends, and digital 'professionals' working in the Tech for Good sector.

Ben White- Head of delivery at the best digital agency in the UK / world. Worked in charity, government and theme restaurants, but somehow always ends up messing about with computers

Greg Ashton - Researcher, strategist, geek and habitual complainer. After years of helping sell stuff that people don't need he's turned his 'gifts' to good. Without him we'd have nothing to talk about on the show, literally.

Paul Jakubowski- Producer. Currently refusing to bio

Rebecca Rae - Strategist, activist, commentator and cat advocate. 10 years of experience in digital, 16 years of experience volunteering for charities, 2.5 years full time in the tech for good sector.

Jonny Evans - User experience designer for good, speaker, writer, raconteur, natural enemy of cats. Bourbon advocate.

    Some rough topics:

    • Stat of the month - We'll do this nearer the time so it's totally relevant

    • Campaign of the month - Christmas campaign review

    • Tech news of the month - We'll do this nearer the time so it's totally relevant

    • Rant of the month - YOU! Time to get you involved again - what rants do you have about tech for good?

    Party party

Afterwards expect plenty of booze, chatting and a great venue. A chance for us all to let our hair down and have some fun.

    Prizes

Rosenfeld Media have given us three lovely lovely books to give away on the evening. We'll decide how nearer the time :)

We review the books here: (Warning: Cats!)

    Sponsorship

    • Thanks as always to 34SP and Reason Digital

    • Extra thanks this month to Bethnal Green Ventures

    • There's another sponsorship spot for this month because: Christmas. And: extra costs. (Nice venue) Give us a shout if you're interested :)

    See you there!

Josh, Bex, Jonny, Ben, Greg, Paul, Ian and Mille. (The podcast & events teams) x
