Functional Parsing in F# with FParsec

Description :
Parsing is a great tool for collecting metadata and automating processes however using regular expressions and tracking string indices to parse the information you need can get complicated. Parser combinators are an alternate means of parsing data and you can take advantage of this technique in F# with a library called FParsec. Using functional programming techniques like piping and composition, parser combinators allow you to write parsers quickly, easily, and in a readable way. This presentation will introduce you to both F# and FParsec, along with the functional programming concepts required to get started with parser combinators.
