Clear Channel Media + Entertainment is looking for a talented Software Developer to work directly with our Program Manager and Engineering & Systems Integration team on software development and enhancement to support Clear Channel's broadcast data services initiatives. This position requires using highly structured programming techniques in writing software code, and disciplined documentation skills.  Must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with Project Manager and other team members to clearly provide progress updates, roadblocks, and offer suggestions & solutions. The successful candidate needs to be able to investigate problems, identify robust solutions quickly and work well in a fast-paced team environment.

5+ years of experience in software development in Java J2EE with an understanding of Perl and Python Ÿ Broadcasting, automotive or Industry equivalent experience preferred Ÿ Essential skills, extensive J2EE development experience in Hibernate, JBoss, JMS, POJO, Spring Framework, Eclipse, Maven, JAXB, JUnit, Jakarta Commons, JSR Portlets, JSP/JSF, JQuery, AJAX, Quartz Scheduler, and JMX/OSGi Ÿ Experience with data manipulation and transformation Ÿ Experience with working with databases from the development side.  MySQL and PostgreSQL experience preferred Ÿ Broad experience with HTTP/FTP, XML, Client/Server protocols and server virtualization (Zen server experienced preferred) Ÿ Ability to work with external engineers, and provide clear documentation, APIs, and sample code Ÿ Experience with Technical Standards, Documentation Skills, Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills.  Automotive OEM or aftermarket hardware development preferred Ÿ Working knowledge of broadcast data protocols (TPEG, TMC, HD Radio, Maps, Geolocation) desired, but not required.
