Hometown: Born in Newport Beach - Grew up in Las Vegas

3rd floor for now, but I'm quickly learning my way around the machine shop. So far I have taken the WaterJet and I'm enrolled in the Tormach class for next Monday. I'm thinking ShopBot or maybe Metal Shop Basics is next.
A time machine - sometimes I miss the wisdom of my Grandparents. Sometimes I wish I could just give them a hug and tell them thank you.
Flux capacitors? LOL I'm planning to become proficient in Maya and Inventor, I want to be able to bridge the divided between animation and reality. Well, I expect the human race to continue doing this and I want to be a player in the game.
Collaboration. Without a doubt the single greatest way to achieve amazing results is to work together with nothing but the pure reality of a solution in mind. Open source hardware is a buzz phrase, but it's humans actually opening up that is the biggest hurdle. Uh, hum, Gatherous is a great tool that about 5 of us are now using from an input stand-point. Device issues? Fear of socialization? Lack of understanding to what it does? I feel like I am at Disneyland but Mickey Mouse is walking away from me instead of opening his arms to give me a hug and take a picture with me. It's still Disneyland and I'm still f**king stoked to be here, but at times Mickey is making me sad. I've talked to the owners of the app and even they said, if people don't want to adopt it then it was an experiment that hasn't found a home yet. I haven't had a bad experience with anyone I've met here. I'm so at home here. What do you think is the best way to get cohesive? Do you want to?
Hi, this is Marc Roth, I'm going to guess you've been wondering when I'd show up here :)
It's a game changer. If you're not a member now, get in the game.
