Meet with Edward Tufte:

Edward Tufte, Professor Emeritus Political science, Statistics, and Computer Science at Yale University wrote, designed, and published his 4 books The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, Envisioning Information, Visual Explanations, and Beautiful Evidence. A data theorist, pioneer in data visualization, and notable sculptor, he was described by the New York Times as the "Leonardo da Vinci of data” and by Business Week as “Galileo of graphics.”

Make sure to bring a copy of his book to get an autograph!

How to find us: The event takes place at PayPal HQ at Town Hall, which is facing North First Street.

Public Transit Info: PayPal Town Hall is directly across the street from the Karina Station of VTA/Light Rail in San Jose, CA.

Parking Info: All unmarked spots at PayPal HQ are up for grabs. When you pull into the campus, look for Town Hall (large building says "Town Hall" above doors, faces North First) and then park where you'd like.
