BlackGirlsCode is an organization dedicated to addressing the gap of STEM education opportunities by exposing young girls of color to programming and technology within a fun and creative environment. This summer, BGC has organized programming workshops in cities around the country where girls can build a web page in a day with the help of experienced educators and volunteers. An Atlanta workshop is scheduled for this month on Saturday, July 28th at Emory University. If you would to register a young lady for the event, or looking to volunteer please visit their website.
