littleBits: Electronics Prototyping for Beginners Workshop

Join our workshop at TechShop San Jose to enjoy 2 hours of inventing with seamlessly integrated electronics!

littleBits is an open-source library of electronic modules that snap together with magnets for prototyping, learning, and fun.

Imagine a paint brush that only paints when it hears a sound, or an alarm that sounds when the lights are turned on. The possibilities are endless!

Participants will learn the basics of electronics prototyping and inventing with littleBits. There is no soldering, wiring, or programming necessary, and no engineering experience required.

This workshop is open to 8-13year olds; although minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when on premises.

I am planning to bring my kid. I am driving from Fremont. I wonder if the event is still going to happen since there is only 3 people RSVP-ed.
    Thank you!

Is this workshop basically for kids?

Although it is designed more for kids, anyone who doesn't have a lot of experience with electronics would definitely learn something new at this workshop!
