What do you want to make?

SJSU librarian Bernd Becker and I are co-teaching a new course for Summer: "LIBR 287 Smart Objects" The original concept came from: We further explored library implications in this conference presentation: and now grad students at MIT's Media Lab are sharing their work with us collaboratively: We should have the syllabus up shortly. We are using the SparkFun Inventor's Kit and two free books: Banzi's Getting Started with Arduino from Make and Margolis's Arduino Cookbook from O'Reilly.

I'm faculty at SJSU interested in teaching future librarians about the Maker movement.
