20:00 Adopting Swift at Houzz - The good, the bad and the ugly
by Uri Nachmias, iOS Dev @Houzz

Last year we decided to jump into the water and embrace Swift into our code. Since Houzz is a complex app with a long development history this was a challenging and exciting task.In this talk we will describe what we've learned what to do and what not to do, and some tips for all the developers who want to start writing code in Swift and didn't take the big dive in yet...

20:40 Video Streaming in iOS

In this session I'll give some background about video streaming technologies such as progressive download, http streaming, live vs VOD, security and more. we'll explore the different types and explain when to use what. We'll look what's new in iOS9 and how to be prepare to the deprecation of MPMoviePlayer. On top of that I'll show the main difference between html5 video and native video - when to use what.

21:15 An introduction to React Native
by Pieter De Baets (http://twitter.com/javache) , iOS Engineer on the React Native team @Facebook (https://developers.facebook.com/)

Facebook introduced React Native in the beginning of this year, bringing the popular React.js framework to native applications. Pieter will explain how JavaScript might be the future of native development and why React's functional UI pattern matters as much in native as on the web.
