1/15/20 Discussion Topic:
Basic Buddhism: The Five Skandhas - also called the Five Aggregates or the Five Heaps. The skandhas might be thought of as components that come together to make an individual. What are we referring to when we think and say "I"? This is the individual as a process of the skandhas. We will explore this very basic Buddhist teaching.

Weekly Meditation Service and other events-
Meditation services are held on Wednesday evenings from 6 pm. A Dharma talk and discussion is held in the main house. Then a meditation service is held in the Main Hall, comprising of a Daily Service Program, and two periods of meditation. This is followed by a potluck dinner, ending around 9 pm. It is suggested to attend all portions, but is not necessary.
Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11 a.m. is a Dharma tutorial on Chih-i’s Mo-ho-chih-kuan.
Tuesday evening 7-830 p.m. Tai Chi in the hondo with Michael Roland. $10.
All weekly services are open to the public.
