• to put this in perspective the cost is about the same as playing at the Atlantic club for 1 hour.
• Members can bring a guest once at no cost, afterwhich a $5 guest fee per event is charged.
New Members may attend the outdoor meetups for free (indoor we split the cost) and will have 60 days to ponder signing on.
• Last summer when we needed permits to secure the courts an additional $1.00/per player was required when attending. This year we have increased the dues to cover the those costs.

Our group has 4 divisions.
Beginners (Baseline Clinic) 1.0 -2.9.
Advanced (Aces) tennis players 3.0 and up.
3.5 Rated players
4.0 Singles, plus
Our beginners group (Baseline Clinic) will be for players looking to get back into their game. This division requires some basic skills, knowledge of the game and scoring. People that have played before but are looking to move up in their skill level. This group will be more informal.
Advanced players (Aces), 3.0 and up, are for men and women that have played very well before and have been rated between 3.0 and 3.5 This group is fun, social but competitive.
3.5 Rated players. this division is for players that have been rated 3.5 and up only.
4.0 Singles, PLUS. is for men and women that have played very well before and have been rated between 3.5 - 5.0. I plan to make most events singles matches, however, after a set or 2 we could switch to doubles. This division will be a work in progress for the up coming season.
What group are you?
"BASELINE CLINIC": Anyone (newbies or existing members) can sign up and play in the B division anytime. This division will help you with some basic skills, knowledge of the game and scoring.
"ACES" Division: This division is ONLY for members rated 3.0 and up. This division requires that you be able to serve with about 90% success, and to be able to volley and play the base line with some pace and accuracy. This level is more user friendly and social.
3.5 rated players: This is for players that have been rated 3.5 and higher. This group has a faster pace on the ball and is intended for a more competitive match.
4.0 Singles PLUS. This division is for competitive matches at about a 4.0 level. I plan to schedule singles matches for the first hour, plus, switching over to doubles in the 2nd hour. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY SINGLES FIRST.
Unrated or don't know your rating? Newbies can sign up to play in the Baseline clinic any time, but in fairness to our A players, if you are honestly, just starting out or haven't played at a competitive level in some time please avoid coming to an advance session until after you have been assessed.
I will coordinate matches according to your ability. Matches will be a variety of singles and doubles as well as mixed gender. This will be determined by the player turnout. A new sleeve of balls should be brought each time you play.
