Footsteps of our Fathers, Chapter 1: Road Tripping- A Hunter Chronicle

Hey guys, we're back on the road and headed for East St. Louis by way of Astoria, NYC! (Location is just a suggestion, if it's too much of a haul for brooklyn folks than please let me know and we can try to meet halfway in Manhattan).

Last time we saw three of legendary Hunter Arthur "Pa" Hadley's adopted children attempting to track him down after he mysteriously disappeared. Their search lead them to his last known location- South Fork, Pennsylvania, where a local man's untimely death coincided with a reported ghost sighting. An abandoned motel room, an adulterous widow, and a disturbed grave pointed to a horrific presence in the sleepy town- a twisted, murderous corpse known as a Revenant, raised back to an unholy semblance of life by blasphemous necromantic rituals. Some quick thinking, a car chase, and some shotgun shells returned the monster to the grave, but left the Hadley kids with two sober realizations: that the things Pa always raved about were indeed real...and that he was nowhere to be found. Perhaps the initials "D.W." and an address haphazardly scrawled in Pa's seemingly abandoned journal would hold the answer. And so the crew hit the road, headed for East St. Louis, Illinois, to continue their search...

Ok, that was the cool stuff, now time for the lame scheduling stuff.

Please email me if the day and time don't work well for you, or if Astoria is too much of a haul...though if we're able to do it up here, Sweet Afton is a really sweet (no pun intended) location, and there's also an indoor/outdoor beer garden nearby that'd make for a really great play space as well. I have tix to a play at 8pm that night, which is why I'm suggesting a 2pm start time (we ran about 3-4 hours last session); if that early doesn't work for people I'm free on Friday night (the 9th) and Sunday all day (the 11th), and I'm open to suggestions. I've got the event set on Repeat forevery 2 weeks which would put the 3rd session on Thanksgiving- I'll adjust that once we've had our second meeting :)

We've hopefully got a couple of new characters joining us for the next session, which I'm stoked about- email me with any questions guys!
