Morning climbs?

Anyone have mornings free and want to get some climbing in? Any day or wall is good (Greenbelt is fun), I don't have a rope but can belay lead or would down for some bouldering...suggest a date!

I'm taking this week off because of some injuries but if this is a recurring thing I'm in for next week for sure! There's a few of us that usually get to Gus around 8 or 9 during the week to climb the 10's and 11's so if you wanna get there early I'm in!

What's Gus? And I'm up for making it a recurring thing, if others are game. I don't have ropes or draws, but I'm happy to give a belay for anyone who does!

Gus Fruh, along the greenbelt, good fun but harder climbs then Seismic.

Super good time climbing today...weekday mornings are great out there, let's try to make it a somewhat regular thing. I'm down any day except Thursday next week.

You guys who didn't come missed out. It looked like it was going to rain, but never did--until the moment we packed up. Tiny light mist. Had the wall all to ourselves, pleasantly cool the whole time. Awesome.

Just got here and it's dry, we have the wall to ourselves...

I'll be there around 10:15 with a rope.

Weather looks awful, 60-70% chance of precipitation according to google. Does it look any better out there on the ground? (Hoping you check this on a smartphone)

I was going to cancel, but I guess I'll just keep an eye on the weather...

I'll be arriving a little late, since my sleep schedule is wack, and I don't believe in traffic. But I should be there before 11.

Anyone up for going Friday morning?

I'm a novice and have never climbed outside, should I still join?

I'd recommend starting indoors, but hey, beginners had to start somewhere before gyms existed. You should have a harness and shoes. Someone might lend you a harness (I don't have an extra, personally), but it's not worth it without shoes.

Nice to see some interest in the morning climbs...anyone available this Wednesday to hit up Seismic?

I can climb almost any morning. I've been off for almost 6 months with physical issues, so I'm trying to come back slow, but I was a 5.11 lead climber and have all the gear.

I am free pretty much all mornings and I'd love to get outside. I don't have a rope or draws right now, but I've lead for ~6 years and taught lead climbing as an instructor, so if anyone wants to learn I'm happy to help. I've been out of climbing shape for a while, but I can ropegun up to 5.10 or maybe 5.11 these days. Let's do it!

I can lead, don't have a rope, and am down for some morning climbs in this glorious weather. Name the time and place, I'm down.

I can do weekends or really early mornings on weekdays. I have rope but can't lead yet.

I could get into some morning climbs in the Greenbelt. I'm between jobs and heading back to school, and since Winter doesn't actually feel like showing up this year - let's climb. I have a rope, draws, half a dozen harnesses, etc. If someone can lead higher than me (which should be pretty easy), then let's do it. -K
