What we're about
A FREE (AND FREE-WHEELING) GATHERING AT CERIMON HOUSE. IT'S TIME TO CRAFT A NEW FUTURE FOR A WORLD FULL OF LOOSE THREADS. AND, BEING TOGETHER?...THERE ARE MARVELOUS YARNS TO TELL. In collaboration with our ongoing program, Closely Knit, which is the brain-child of our dear colleague Jennifer Le Blanc...and hosted by our very own Operations Manager Dianna Fontes: com'n over, for Tuesday's child is full of grace...and craftiness! Please bring your own projects and materials along to enjoy the company and conversations that emerge during this night of creativity. Of course we will have some materials and inspirations on hand for you to play with as well. No pressure to know how to do any particular handcrafts ahead of arriving. We can show you the basics of hand stitching, crochet, knitting and more. We encourage attendees to share their skills, stories and ideas with each other also. Do you want to show others how to weave, stitch or knit? We are hoping to have guest teachers, speakers and crafty entrepreneurs come in to share their talents and ideas each week also. Any fiber based handcraft is welcomed. Crafty humans of all ages are welcomed. Parents please accompany your kiddos under 11 years of age. No childcare is provided. This event is free but donations to Cerimon House are always welcome.
