What we're about

Ever wonder why Sex Education seems non-existent beyond fifth grade? Curious to learn more about your sexual health but not sure where to begin or whom to ask? Perhaps you know a lot about sex already (from experience, the internet, your friends) but when it comes to speaking with a clinician (i.e. doctor or nurse) you just don't get your all of your questions answered.....or it's just plain awkward! Perhaps you're struggling with the dating/hookup culture in the Bay Area and need some authentic connection? Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure, there is a gap and this group aims to close it!

The goal of this group is to empower singles to talk about sex and relationships with more confidence and to build upon the network of trusted health care professionals who want to improve Sex Education for Adults. I am one of those professionals seeking to help singles have healthier lifestyles (including myself) and to explore some of the most interesting questions of modern sex, such as:

-How do I protect myself and my partner(s) while living 'The Bumble Dream'?

-WTF is 'Sex Tech'?

-How do I articulate my wants/needs to my partner when it comes to having mutual orgasm?

-Why does a breakup feel like a drug withdrawal?

-How to "DTR" (Define The Relationship) so that everyone is on the same page?

-I recently discovered 'porn for women' and I'm curious if it's healthy or not?

-Is it healthy/safe to send nude photos on my iphone?

-Are there natural alternatives to birth control?
