Monkey Lookout Hike

  • This location is shown only to members

  • Please note that the organizers are not liable for your personal safety. The organizers are only there to arrange a meetup for your pleasure and enjoyment. We do not claim to be professionals and we do not have any medical training. By attending any of the hikes or events you are stating that you take full responsibility for yourself but it's a good call to look out for each other. You should also be aware of your own level of fitness and health. Common sense is a big plus.

Make sure you are prepared for just over **** 2 hours / 5KM **** of hiking. This hike is not flat and also has uneven terrain.

It's a decent fairly quick hike with some nice views - It is a dirt/gravel and uneven trail and the first 2.5KM is a good healthy grade to the southern views into the Valley. The return trail is a level narrow rough single track path around the NE of the lookout, to the decent back to the road with some nice views also.

It's not an extreme trail however I want everyone to be aware of the terrain you will be encountering.

Dogs off leash okay - providing they are respectful of people and other dogs on the trail.

Bring water and a snack !!

It's basically across from Ledgeview Golf course, once you see Golf Course Drive on the left (going east) you will see the street parking on the right and the trail head just past that.

On McKee Road driving east it's 1km past Ledgeview Drive.
