A visit with Tarot in the Land of Mystereum and J. Jordan Hoggard

We are so blessed here in NM to have incredibly talented artists and writers in our midst, and doubly blessed when they turn their efforts towards Tarot. J. Jordan Hoggard moved to Santa Fe around the publication time of his tarot deck and book, "Tarot in the Land of Mystereum." He is going to tell us a little about how he came to create his deck and teach us a spread he calls "The Treasures of the Stones." You'll need to bring a standard 78-card Tarot Deck and pen/paper to take notes. This class is suitable for readers of all levels, from novice to experienced. If you don't have a deck, or forget to bring one, there will be spares you can borrow. This class will be more than just educational, it will be a ton of fun! Please RSVP on the Meetup Site so we can be sure to have a seat saved for you!

Here is a little blurb about Jordan taken from a web site:

"Jordan Hoggard's 25+ year career spans the spectrums of painting, fine arts, architecture, and tarot. His watercolors have been described as powerfully intense windows of the psyche, his oil paintings as evocative portals for discovery and reflection, and his tarot art as resurrected French d'affiche that carries a deceptive simplicity that is alive in its boldly yang fluidity.

Join Jordan's journey through his vast and checkered variety of well-developed areas of expertise where his comfortability with a sense of the wonderful serendipity of not-knowing coupled with his actionable imagination (Imagin-Action (c) ) aspirate knowledge and induce sanctuaries of questions where mastery continually leads to further discovery."

Jordan is that rare person who sees life as an adventure with all opportunities open for creating mystical paths for himself and others.

You're very welcome! It was a joy to experience such an interactive group with such wonderfully vibrant perspectives. It makes my heart sing and brings my soul to dance to see people leave with something they can put to use in their lives in just their own ways. A rockin' group where the "rules" I set up were broken almost off the bat uSING the structure. People giggin' with what they felt useful in their own way, their native expert skill in play. It was a joy to present to the Albuquerque Tarot Tribe, and I look forward to hearing how the "Treasure of the Stones" plays out for each.

Thank you for sponsoring my presentation. I am honored to have such a wonderfully diverse group that works together tocall a home away from home.

Magic to all of you born from your own expert skill in play. Think Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers: may you utilize Ginger's higher octave yang, being able to perform it all backwards and in high heels.

Tarot in the Land of Mystereum Thx Mucho!

Thank you Jordan for sharing your bright energy with our group and leading us to expand our awareness and thinking!
