Our beautiful and serene location at Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary Shere is a perfect place to practice yoga. Harry Edwards has a beautiful and uplifting energetic atmosphere, this should add to your enjoyment. If you are like us, you will feel the unique atmosphere upon arrival and enjoy stunning views across the Surrey Hills.

There are many documented health and wellbeing benefits of practicing yoga. “Yoga participants report better sleep, increased energy levels and muscle tone, relief from muscle pain and stiffness, improved circulation and overall better general health. The breathing aspect of yoga can benefit heart rate and blood pressure”. (Please see our Facebook page for reviews from past guests).

Trained in India, we are teaching traditional Himalayan style yoga. Yoga is a balance between mind, body, and spirit. In our physical practice, we will focus on warming up and opening exercises. Simple yet profound, they are aimed at increasing the flexibility in the body and are highly recommended for anyone with stiff joints, flexibility issues, those new to yoga.

Our yoga sessions are dedicated to relaxation and relieving stress – for deeper relaxation you can combine our yoga classes with our Gong Bath. You can find more information about our Gong Baths on Meetup - we offer a cheaper package ticket for both sessions. You can also purchase a full day ticket including our special afternoon workshops. For more information, please visit our website or contact us directly. We are always happy to talk with anyone interested in our events.

Please, note that 50 pence from each ticket will be donated to Surrey Wildlife Trust and Wildlife Aid

Concessions (students, pensioners, benefit recipients): PLEASE, CONTACT US FOR DETAILS. We will ask for evidence of eligibility. We do not turn anyone away from our events who have a genuine need for a reduced price ticket.

We provide yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and eye masks. We advise you to bring a bottle of water.

The best method is to type Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary into Google Maps. Sat Navs don’t normally work very well. If you find Burrows Lea farm, Burrows Lea house is the next one along and the one you need.

There is a large free car park on the right of the long drive. Please follow the signs to reception. Reception will point you in the right direction.

We advise you to eat two or more hours before the event and drink plenty of water after the event. We also encourage you to wear loose fitting clothes for your comfort.

We kindly ask anyone attending the event to read our TERMS AND CONDITIONS. By clicking “RSVP” and paying, as well as participating, you confirm you have read and agreed to our TERMS.

Minors: Please, be aware our events are aimed at adults 18+ due to their profound nature.

Medical conditions/prescribed medications/pregnancy: We advise those who are pregnant to abstain from our events. If you have any medical conditions, are on a prescribed medication, or have any concerns, please, see your GP and inform him/her about attending our yoga sessions, this will allow your GP to give appropriate advice.
