This series of sitting meditation is based on Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach's program, the "Mindfulness Daily.' To quote from the program "Do you make regular visits to yourself?" (Rumi) This program consists of 40 modules each one a 15 minute duration focuses on one aspect of mindfulness like, breath, body, emotions, thoughts, resilience, relating, communication, healing and purposeful living to cultivate the skills of mindfulness living. Various principals behind the practice will also be discussed for deepening the understanding and retention of the core principals. In each weekly session, one module will be covered.
The program may be joined at anytime,as modules will be covered cyclically and support will be provided to the new participants.
The benefits of such meditation practice can permeate into all areas of our life as has been shown by many scientific studies. As may be imagined, the real benefits are reaped by establishing a regular practice and therefore commitment to attending all sessions will be highly beneficial.
