EARTHSAVE VEG DINNER ED SERIES has monthly events that support people in making healthier diet and lifestyle choices. Dinner on Feb. 28th, from 6-9 pm, will feature GINNY ROBERTSON speaking on ?BEING THE CHANGE THAT WE WISH TO SEE?. The need for change in our world is painfully obvious. If we are going to learn how to live at peace with ourselves and with others, with other nations, other species, and with our environment, there is work to be done. Ginny Robertson is a pioneer in the field of developing and teaching people new ways of communicating and relating to each other. Ginny?s interactive presentation will help us to see how we can put Gandhi?s wisdom into action each day in our own lives. Please join us if you can!

DINNER GUESTS are asked to bring a dish that?s made without animal products to serve five times the number in their party, along with a donation of $5 ($2 for members). MARCH 28th EARTHSAVE VEG DINNER ED SERIES EVENT on Saturday, March 28th, 6-9 PM: MARK RIFKIN, MS, RD, LDN, will show us how we can eat vegetarian/vegan for less. Learn which foods can extend our grocery bills, how to fit in more expensive and prepared items, and where to look for excess "fat" in our budget. Everybody can eat veganomically! Mark Rifkin holds a Master's Degree in health education & is a Registered Dietitian. He focuses on plant-based diets to prevent and treat chronic diseases and nutritional deficiencies, especially for women, seniors, minority populations, & vegetarians. He's also passionate about eating and living green lifestyles.

4TH ANNUAL EARTH FRIENDLY FOOD CHOICES lecture event will happen on Sunday, May 24th from 5:30?9:00 pm. It will feature a presentation on THE WORLD PEACE DIET by author WILL TUTTLE, Ph.D. Also featured will be a talk by CARYN HARTGLASS, the Executive Director of EARTHSAVE INTERNATIONAL. Caryn will speak on OUR PLANET, OUR FOOD, & OUR FUTURE. We will have the event details on our website soon.

WOMEN?S EXPO AT CCBC CATONSVILLE, always one of our favorite events, will feature more than 200 exhibitors and speakers. The Expo will happen this year on March 7th and 8th. As usual, Earthsave will have an information and book sales table that you will see on your right as soon as you enter. Tickets are $6, (free with college ID) which will benefit the nonprofit organization American Association for Women in Community College. If you attend on Saturday, you might want to hear DON ROBERTSON, of Earthsave Baltimore, speak on A MENU OF LOVE: THE VEGETARIAN LIFESTYLE from 1:15-1:45 pm. Don, who founded Earthsave Baltimore in 1997, will show us the wide-ranging impact that our food choices have on the environment, our health, and all life on Earth. He will also look at some of the toughest barriers we face in making diet and lifestyle changes.
