Join us for "Blithe Spirit", Noel Coward's well-known supernatural comedy classic about love, marriage and feuding wives, performed by Bath Spa Uni's graduating drama students at the new theatre on the Bath Spa Uni campus at Newton Park.
Researching for his next book, novelist Charles Condomine and his wife Ruth invite Madame Arcati, medium extraordinaire, to conduct a séance. But Charles gets more than he bargained for when the ghost of his first wife Elvira bursts into the room. Elvira wastes no time telling Charles that Ruth is not the wife for him, while Ruth tries to get Elvira to return to the spirit world. With the battle-lines drawn, comedy chaos follows.

I haven't been to Bath Spa Uni theatre before, but I believe seats are unreserved. Meet us in the foyer at 7.15pm - the play starts at 7.30pm - and we'll go into the auditorium as soon as it opens to get good seats. If you arrive later, find us inside the auditorium or join us in the interval.
Directions & parking
The entrance to Bath Spa Uni campus at Newton Park is on the A39, 100m from the Globe pub roundabout junction (where the A39 meets the A4). From the drive entrance, continue up the drive for 5 minutes and through the University security gate. Parking is free after 7pm. You may wish to drop passengers off at the University Theatre as the car park is a little further down the road at the far end of the campus, about 8 minutes walk from the University Theatre.
