A tour through the Kuchlbauer Bierwelt

Update: I reserved an English tour on April 5th at 13:30. Please RSVP until March 28. If we are not 15 people (and nobody else signs up for this tour on the Kuchelbauer website), we would have to pay for 15 people anyways (157€ divided by the number of participants) and the price for everyone would go up. However, we are free to cancel the tour at no charge until March 28.

Hello everyone, I was thinking about organizing a visit to the Kuchlbauer World of Beer (http://www.kuchlbauers-bierwelt.de/Bierwelt.6.0.html?&lang=en). It looks like a fun tour, and introduces you to "everything about Bavaria's heart of beer and art including its history and its secrets". I called and they do offer tours in English, if we are at least 15 people. Price per person for a 2h tour including beer and a pretzel is 10,50€. Trains from Munich to Abensberg run very frequently (we would leave Munich at 11:04), and with a Bayern Ticket it would cost 8€ per person. So the total cost up the trip sums up to 18,50€. If we do not manage to find 15 people, the woman I talked to on the phone said they would post our desired date on their website and let other people join our tour.

Hello everyone, thanks for sticking around despite all the train trouble! At the end, it was totally worth it. @Carola and Susan: sorry about the confusion, it got a bit messy there at the train station. We ended up taking an ICE there which worked out well. We didn't even have to pay for more than ourselves at the brewery! Hope to see both of you again next time!

Did we end up getting 15 people total?

I tried posting it on toytown twice. The first time it got deleted with no reason, the second time an admin sent me a PM saying that I must not use toytown to organize my meetup events, since they are not a platform for other social media sites or some random b/s.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all excited for our tour next week! I suggest we meet at 10:45 at the front of platform 24 (train to Ingolstadt). I will buy the train tickets in advance. With 13 people the price for everyone is 20,50€.

If anything comes up, here's my phone number: 0172/974 33 19. It would be great if the people who are coming could PM me their phone number as well. If you unexpectedly have to cancel because you feel sick, have to look at an apartment or what not, please send me a text by Saturday morning the latest! I will only buy as many Bayern-Tickets as we need and wouldn't want to waste a spot.

Hello everybody, currently we are ten people who signed up, hence five short. Personally, I wouldn't mind paying an additional 5 € and was wondering what everyone else's opinion on that is?

Is this event posted on Toytown's website as well? We would probably fill up the remaining 5 spots through cross-marketing.

Hi Claudia! Great work here! April 5th would be best, let's go ahead and plan it in and if someone else proposes an event for April we can just try to fit that in, too!

Cool! I just suggested two dates cause the brewery asked for it. But I'll let them know that April 5th is our preferred date.
