This in an opportunity for players who want to perform rhythms of the Malinke in a troupe that many consider a second family. Great people! Positive Energy! Fun sharing in this amazing rhythm and culture!

The cost to join is FREE for those drummers who are currently taking a Tuesday or Thursday class with David Visiko. If a person is not currently studying Mandingue rhythms on djembe or dunun and is unable to fit in classes, the cost will be $50 a month as their will be plenty of teachable moments of rhythms, breaks and arrangements that have been obtained by people who have studied this music with teachers from West Africa and who paid for this knowledge. The $50 also allows the drummer and includes 3 group classes of instruction per month.

Prerequisite: Must know djembe and dunun parts of 5 Mandingue rhythms. One of those rhythms must have the feel or time of 6/8 tempo. People wanting to join the troupe will have to test before joining the troupe.

Keep studying and join us when you are ready to share the joy of this music.

Rehearsals are every other week and can be 2-4 times on weeks leading up to upcoming performances.

Hope to see you play real soon!
