What we're about
Meet others interested in learning more of the practice of Push Hands in an open learning environment. Push Hands is a two-person "slow sparing" or energy awareness exploration practiced by Tai Chi, Qi Gong and other other Asian martial disciplines. Anyone is welcome, though experience with Push Hands or exposure to an "internal" martial art is very helpful. I have several years experience with Push Hands from the perspective of Qi Dao (Tibetan Shamanic Qigong) and I am open to teaching those who wish to learn. However, I can not claim to be a master of Push Hands. Those with considerable experience are certainly welcome to come and teach as well. We will be primarily meeting in Berkeley city parks. As the weather improves, I intend to have meet-ups up to once per week.
