New Meetup: January 2011 Meetup - First Meetup of the New Year!

From: Matt N.

Announcing a new Meetup for BKTK - Tech, Design, Social Media and more in Brooklyn!

What: January 2011 Meetup - First Meetup of the New Year!

When: Wednesday, January 12,[masked]:30 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Big thanks to those of you who came out to the December Meetup at Bar Tabac. We had a great discussion about viral video and video blogging, courtesy of our speaker, Sean Kaminsky. If you missed the discussion, you can check out his book at http://bit.ly/nakedlens

It's hard to believe, but 2010 is coming to an end. So, it's time to schedule our very first Meetup of 2011! We'll continue with our Wednesday theme and plan to meet at 6:30pm on Wed, Jan 12th. Venue is TBD, pending the number of RSVPs, so let us know if you can make it!

We are also looking for speakers for our next meeting. If you have an idea or problem you would like to get feedback on from the group, please send an email to [address removed]. The idea is that your unique situation and/or idea can be a two way street to foster interesting dialogue while providing you with valuable feedback from your peers. Each speaker will have up to 10 minutes to present their idea or situation and then it will be followed by questions/suggestions from the group.

Also, if you think the meeting should be on a different part of Brooklyn... or if you have any suggestions in general let us know.

Happy Holidays/Happy New Year and we hope to see you in 2011!

Thanks,

-Matt
