As usual, it was lovely seeing you all and thanks for a great meeting. I do hope your hangovers weren't as bad as mine. Note for self, red wine and tequila do not mix...
Our wonderful book club rolls onwards and the next book, by popular vote, will be 'A Horse Walks into a Bar' by David Grossman. All I know is that it's described as a 'daring tragicomedy about an Israeli standup comic who struggles to keep standing as the gig goes on'.
It sounds intriguing and hopefully will offer a bit of light relief from our grim reality. I mean the whole Trump thing, not life here in Denmark....Aha!
If you're part of the group but haven't yet been to a meeting, then what are you waiting for, bust out that Kindle! New faces are always welcome.
It's a bit of a gap until we formally convene again as we have a break for Christmas travels. However, through my hazy memory of the last meeting's events I believe there was talk of scheduling an in-between mini-social, so watch this space!
