Whether you’re a fan of Hollywood blockbusters or art house cinema, this is a movie club for you. Get together with other film lovers in the Bournemouth / Poole / Christchurch area to watch the latest mainstream and / or independent cinema releases, and then chat about it all afterwards over post movie drink (or two). Tolkien explores the formative years of the orphaned author J. R. R. Tolkien (played by Nicholas Hoult) as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of the First World War, which threatens to tear the ‘fellowship’ apart. All of these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels. Film starts at 8:00pm so lets meet by ticket office at 7:45pm.
