Regular Monthly Meeting of the Alamance Makers Guild (Fab Lab and Maker Faire)

Its time for the next open meeting of the Alamance Makers Guild.

At this meeting we'll have:

1) Our usual show-n-tell and updates on personal projects
2) A special presentation from the folks at Fab Labs Carolinas including a discussion of where we might go next with our group, a Maker Space, and Educational Outreach here in the community.
3) The first discussions about the next Burlington Mini Maker Faire (in April 2013).  Its time to start pre-planning and it would be nice to get some folks to sign up to help out with various tasks.

As always please feel free to bring your projects, your families, and your questions!  If any of the above aren't practical to bring in person, feel free to bring pictures or video.

In the mean while, check out my  youtube channel for video from the last meeting (3 out of 4 clips from the lecture are now live):

Question? Should we have food at this meeting?  If so what is your vote (answer the question when you RSVP and/or over on our fan wall on Facebook)

P.S. We need presentations for future meetings... demonstrations of skills or talents, explanations of projects, hands-on-demonstrations of something.  (like the Craft Night, 3D printing demo, and CNC Demo).  Contact me personally if you'd like to perform a demo or give a lecture (or if you know someone who would like to!)  Can be on any topic... arts, crafts, technical, etc.

Got real/new job. I won't be able to attend regular meetings but with at least two weeks notice can attend special weekend things like blacksmithing.
