Are you a maker? If so what kinds of things have you made?

I usually do small projects, nothing too interesting. I have built a number of electronic kits, of course. I have written a digital video player for the Tandy Color Computer 3... :-)

Are you interested in the idea of a maker space for Burlington/Alamance County?

Yes, of course.

Would you be interested in joining a space? partnering to create the space? Spreading the word?

Yes, probably, OK.

What skills, knowledge, tools, or ideas can you share?

I have software development skills, particularly with low-level code for devices. I am also strongly involved in the open-source community, particularly around Linux. I also have a Makerbot Cupcake... :-)

I'm a software developer, employed at Red Hat on the kernel team. I'm also a married father of three. My geeky interests include microcontrollers, some electronics, and vintage computing (especially the Tandy Color Computer).

So far, so good! :-)
