I am sorry you folks didn't have a lot of context for my chapter, thanks for working through it anyway. I got some excellent feedback. Martin and some others wanted to discuss my project further, my email is [masked]

I just woke up now, and I'm feeling very ill. I think I will have to miss this one. Sorry!

Hello all. I uploaded a short (12 page) section of a chapter I wrote for a biography of my grandfather. This section is about a mission he was given while working for army intelligence, just after the end of WWII. I would love some feedback, but completely understand if some folks don't have time to review this on such short notice.

Like Peter, I was at AWP this weekend. In one of the panels I attended, someone mentioned a short short story that I love, which I haven't looked at in a long time: The Wig, by Brady Udall. If anyone wants to read it before Wednesday, it might make for interesting conversation (if no one else posts anything). It's quite a famous story, so you might have already read it. A version can be found here: http://www.whysanity.net/creative/brady.html

With a name like this, how could I pass up the meetup? Who are we reading?
